I don’t believe I mentioned this in other issues, but I have made the transition to entrepreneurship within the past three weeks with my company, Trash Panda Capital.
It was a sudden and unexpected move, but it finally thrust me into the world I have dreamed about hopping into for years.
However, even with this excitement and change, the way I exited my previous role left me questioning myself. Especially in the following ways:
- Am I not good enough technically, especially with Salesforce?
- What did I do wrong?
- I am destined to ever achieve success?
- What is wrong with me?
And today, the realization hit me:
There is nothing wrong with me. I was just trying to fit into a place I didn't belong.
I don't fit into the corporate world. I am too much of a free spirit person that desires control and direction, and that usually leads to conflict.
I need to be in entrepreneurship to succeed. For 15+ years, I have started many businesses and projects, only to have them fail for various reasons.
I'm feeling confident that this is my time to shine. Admittedly, I am scared as heck though!
