Hey everyone! Welcome to the first issue of TrashPandaThoughts for 2021. Going forward, we will be publishing the newsletter twice monthly on random dates. šŸ“…

Today, I'm going to go over a few goals for the year, and review some of the ones I accomplished last year.

A review of 2020 šŸ“…

2020 was a year full of turmoil, chaos and triumph, but I did manage to accomplish the following personal goals:

  1. Read 52 books (Read 70+) šŸ“”
  2. Get my FAA Drone License šŸ›©ļø
  3. Buy a Van šŸšš

I originally had 27 goals, but accomplishing these three is more than enough for me, as these were some of the most satisfying goals I had.

Don't make too many goals, you will never achieve them if you are unfocused šŸš«

Additionally, 2020 was a year of awakening, as I was let go from my job and thrust into doing Trash Panda Capital full time. Not how I expected the year to be at all šŸ¤£

I also opened my eyes to the fact that I am a capable entrepreneur that is poised to create huge wealth in the Private Equity and Real Estate industries

Here are some additional highlights from the year:

  1. Traveling to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for the first time šŸŒ²
  2. Sourcing my first consulting deals on my own šŸ¤‘
  3. Purchasing my first acquisition šŸ“ˆ
  4. Started working with partners šŸ¤
  5. Found my way into scouting and real estate late in the year. šŸ” šŸšļø

Overall, 2020 was pretty good, but good riddance to it.

Whats to come in 2021? šŸ“†

This year, I'm making things a bit simpler with my goals.

Most of the time I fail because I have too many things going on at once šŸ¤”

I like the number three, so I came up that many to focus on. Here they are:

1. Lose weight āš–ļø

2020 was not good for my weight. The stress, food and drinking (see below) made it so the scale went upwards (thankfully not by much).

It's time to get back to clean eating and focus on taking care of my physical and mental health šŸ„

2. Quit Drinking šŸ·

I'm ashamed to admit this, but I was drinking way too much last year. It got to the point where I started to use it as a coping mechanism for stress and such.

Cutting this out entirely helps me to focus on losing weight, strengthening my mental health, and also saves me quite a bit of money.

I'm focusing on more natural ways and strategies to deal with times of stress and negativity ā˜˜ļø

3. Grow Business Ventures šŸ“ˆ

This is pretty self explanatory, but my main goal is to do replace the Trash Panda Capital income from consulting with private equity, real estate and scouting ventures.

I'm also looking at expanding ventures with partners, and preparing myself for the next private equity, and first real estate acquisitions.

I'm also working on designing my first homes and communities that I plan on building eventually, with a large social good focus.

That way, I can finally retiring from working in the Salesforce industry, and move on to things that I love in the next year or two. ā›ˆļø

Closing Thoughts šŸšŖ

Just because a major roadblock or bump comes into your life, doesn't mean that you need to stop doing things. Last year was terrible for many, great for others, and ok for even more.

My heart goes out to those who are homeless, jobless, and on the brink of catastrophe because of the terrible events of 2020.

It's inspired me to really take a hard look at where my heart is, and incorporate kindness and social good into my business instead of being super greedy. ā™„ļø

The best advice I can give is that you should never stop doing things, even though everything is against you. I'll be around to help as many people as I can this year to reach their goals and start moving towards the life that they want to live.

What are your goals for this year, and how can I help you?

Until next time,

Mr. Trash šŸ¦
